Bay Beach Wildlife Sanctuary wildlife refuge

The Bay Beach Wildlife Sanctuary is a beautiful 700-acre urban wildlife refuge that is the largest rehabilitation site in Wisconsin. It is also Green Bay's largest city park. What we call "Packer Country" also offers great fishing with everything from fighting smallmouth bass to tackle-busting salmon. You can also board a fishing charter in search of Chinook and coho salmon, steelhead and brown trout. Or if you would rather, you can travel to the inland lakes and streams for some of the best bass and northern pike fishing in the state or fish for the famed walleye.

You'll also find a world of high caliber professional and collegiate sports teams in the area. These include, of course, the Green Bay Packers, the UW-Green Bay Fighting Phoenix and the United States Hockey League's Green Bay Gamblers.
